Hi, I'm Enoch...

I grew up in the waters and woods of North Florida, where the natural world was my first teacher. As a deeply sensitive and intuitive child, I felt an early kinship with animals, the earth, and the emotions moving through people. Even then, I carried a quiet gift, the ability to help others feel safe, met, and held in my presence.

As I entered adolescence and transitioned from homeschooling to public school, I learned how to compete and perform to “make it” in the world, setting aside my inner life of feeling and sensitivity. This drive led to a Division 1 offer to run track for the University of Florida and multiple academic scholarships. During my freshman year at UF, a psychology course quietly stirred something within me. Might this be my calling? I wondered. Still just a boy myself, I was not yet ready to turn inward, so I continued my hero’s journey outwardly, looking to the world to define who I was. I went on to earn a degree in business, built a lucrative career as a professional poker player, and lived in Las Vegas and traveled internationally throughout my twenties.

Crossing the threshold of thirty in the summer of 2015, I felt the call to return home. I became a community leader, building a thriving running team (Team FTC) and pursuing excellence in the marathon. At the pinnacle of this journey, running the Olympic Marathon Trials in 2020, I recognized the moment not as an arrival, but as a completion.

At age 35, I stepped away from the pursuit of external achievement and entered a deeper apprenticeship with life. I turned toward practices of self-inquiry, study through wisdom texts, service, and healing. This path led me to facilitate men’s work, teach yoga and breathwork, and listen closely to what emerges when the body is honored as a source of wisdom. This inward turning culminated in earning my master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University, anchoring my intuitive gifts and lived experiences within a grounded therapeutic foundation.

I now weave my innate sensitivity and cultivated discipline with embodied practices of movement, breath, presence, and leadership to offer a deeply integrative and transformative approach through my work at Move Through Psychotherapy.
